Terms & legal
These terms govern access to and use of Rasmere. By using the platform you accept these terms. Last updated 2026.
1. Nature of the service
Rasmere is a planning intelligence platform that produces AI-assisted planning assessment reports for UK development sites. Reports are informational desktop appraisals intended to support professional decision-making. They are not legal advice, planning consent, professional planning advice, or a substitute for engagement with the relevant local planning authority.
2. No warranty on outcomes
All output is generated by automated systems trained on publicly available planning information. While every reasonable effort is made to cite policy and comparable decisions accurately, Rasmere makes no warranty that any report is complete, current, error-free, or that any application will be granted, refused or determined in any particular way. Users must verify all material findings against primary sources before acting.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, (b) resell reports as your own professional planning advice, (c) use the platform to attempt to identify individuals from planning records, or (d) use the platform in breach of any applicable law.
4. Accounts & workspaces
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your workspace. Rasmere may suspend accounts that are used in a manner inconsistent with these terms.
5. Fees, trials & billing
Paid plans include a 30-day trial from the date you activate a plan. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. After the trial, the plan renews on the stated monthly cycle until cancelled. All fees are exclusive of VAT.
6. Intellectual property
Rasmere retains all rights in the platform, its models and its interface. You retain rights in the site addresses and proposals you submit. Reports are licensed to you for use within your organisation.
7. Data & privacy
Rasmere processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and its published privacy notice. Site inputs and reports are stored inside your workspace under row-level security and are not shared with other customers.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rasmere is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from reliance on any report. Aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the fees paid for the platform in that period.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, with the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
